IMPORTANT DATES AND INFO
June 15 Following Sophomore Year of High School: Communication between an athlete and coach is permitted. Communication with a coach includes any verbal offer, phone, text and/or email conversations between a student-athlete or parent/guardian and a DI college coach. Prior to June 15 no communication is permitted.
Athletes are permitted to email coaches and share information and videos but they may not call or text.
College Camps and Clinics: Athletes and college coaches are not allowed to have any recruiting conversations during camps prior to June 15 after sophomore year of high school. Athletes can still attend the camp and be evaluated by coaches but no verbal offers or discussion of recruiting is permitted prior to June 15 after the athlete's sophomore year.
Official and Unofficial visits: Athletes can now take official or unofficial visits beginning August 1 before their junior year of high school. Official visits are paid for fully or partially by the college. Unofficial visits are paid entirely by the athlete's family.
Prior to August 1 before their junior year, athletes may visit campuses in the same way that non-athletes would. Should they run into the coach on the campus they may not have any recruiting conversations.
